Morocco and digital: infrastructure serving an ambition
A 500 MW data centre, 11 billion dirhams over 2024-2026: digital becomes a structuring axis.

Two announcements chart Morocco’s digital course. In July 2025, the Minister for Digital Transition announced the construction of a 500-megawatt data centre powered by renewable energy.
More broadly, the country plans to invest 11 billion dirhams over 2024-2026 in its digital modernisation strategy, which includes artificial intelligence and the rollout of optical fibre.
For digital companies, these directions open up prospects: hosting, connectivity, business services, artificial intelligence projects. They also raise concrete questions: which local partners, which framework, what presence?
Answering these questions means understanding both the Moroccan ecosystem and what French players expect. This is where SIYA Act supports companies in their digital transformation and their partnerships.
